I laugh as I read the post of him actually asking me out. As soon as I agreed to hang out with him today, I went to the bathroom, fixed myself, brushed my hair down and changed clothes. I looked out the window as I hear the familiar sound of his car. I caught myself smiling at the mirror across my room as I head downstairs to greet him.

I saw her coming out of her house and waving at me. I find myself actually grinning at the sight of her. I pulled the car to a stop and went over to her to give her a nice, warm hug. “Hey Jen..” my lips begin to say. “I’ve been missing you a lot lately.” Backing away into a shy smile because I didn’t really mean to say that out loud.

He hugged me, knowing that it always made me feel warm & comfortable. “Yeah? Me too.” I say with a smile. The way that he told me he missed me makes me feel giddy inside. I turned my face away from him after he broke our hug so he wouldn’t notice its redness.
